That doesn’t mean there isn’t any, or that the game is bad, but simply the developers strove to make the gameplay itself what keeps you coming back for more. While we won’t go into the details of the story lines itself for both games, if you’re looking for a deep plot or meaning to the game, Kratos Origins doesn’t have plot as its greatest strength. The rest of the time the new flare provided by the updated graphics is impressive to look at. The graphics are greatly improved, with just a few areas in Chains of Olympus that they look stiff or odd when played on a giant TV screen. This makes it a lot easier to use, and makes Kratos more functional. This was unintuitive, and the PS3 version allows you to use the second analog stick. The updated version also fixes an annoying navigation issue in the game, where you have to use the shoulder buttons to roll. The games don’t have quite the same flash as today’s modern games do, but they are still enjoyable to play. The release also includes both pieces of DLC for Ghost of Sparta (Legionnaire Kratos and Forest of the Forgotten), and the 'God of War: Game Directors Live' video. The second, Ghost of Sparta, follows him as he visits the lost city of Atlantis. The God of War Origins Collection is a HD re-release of Ghost of Sparta and Chains of Olympus - two prequels to the original God of War originally exclusive to the PSP. Chains of Olympus follows Kratos for the ten years he is in service to the gods.
